Who We Were: Internet Honey


Honeybee-cooling croppedIn 2006, Richard Burrell founded Internet Honey, focused on providing a range of marketing services to the tourism industry. By 2009, that focus had tightened, transforming the mission to the measurement of consumer marketing performance. We created the Tourism Engine that year, to help attractions and destinations identify and take full advantage of industry data. Since then, we’ve evolved into Tourism Intelligence Group, and our mission has also evolved.

Now our goal is to help destinations and attractions reach their strongest growth potentials, using all the industry data we delight in, the tools we’ve gathered and the context we help translate into opportunities.
